The NCAA Division I Men’s & Women’s Tennis Subcommittees have selected the 128 teams (64 men, 64 women) that will compete in the 2021 NCAA Division I Men’s & Women’s Tennis Championships. Additionally, the 38 (16 men, 16 women) first- and second-round sites were announced. Due to the health and safety protocols surrounding the pandemic, first- and second-round sites were selected from a group of 20 predetermined sites rather than awarded to strictly the top seeded teams. Seed was factored into the final determination of the sites, and matchups between conference opponents were avoided in the first two rounds of the championship.

The Southeastern Conference had a total of 24 teams receive bids. The 11 men’s teams in the field are Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas A&M. The 13 women’s teams are Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.

The Florida men’s team earned the #1 seed, while Georgia women were named the third seed.

First- and second-round competition takes place May 7-8 of 8-9 and features four teams playing in a single-elimination format. The winner of each site advances to the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida, where the 16 teams will compete for the national championship May 16-28.

Each first-and second-round site will set its own schedule.
