Bucks fans chant ‘Bucks in 6! Bucks in 6!’ after Game 4 win vs. Suns
NBA Twitter rips Chris Paul after turnovers cost Suns in Game 4 loss to Bucks in NBA Finals
Milwaukee Bucks fans were excited after the team earned a 109-103 win in Game 4 against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday.
Milwaukee Bucks fans had to put up with watching the first two games of the 2021 NBA Finals from their homes, despite the team failing to win against the Phoenix Suns on their trip to Arizona. These people must have listened to Suns fans singing “Suns in four”, which couldn’t have been easy. Now the Bucks fan base has its revenge.
On Wednesday night, the Bucks beat the Suns 109-103 to officially tie the series at two games apiece. After a clutch block from star Giannis Antetokounmpo on Deandre Ayton essentially sealed the deal, Milwaukee fans in the Fiserv Forum chanted aloud “Bucks in six!”
Bucks fans celebrate Milwaukee’s Game 4 win over Suns
It must have been nice for Bucks fans to have this moment to take a kick out of the Suns fan base and quite possibly the “Suns in four” guy.
The Suns avoided a potential disaster late in the game after Devin Booker avoided scoring his sixth foul as he faced goaltender Jrue Holiday late in the fourth quarter. But the turnovers cost Phoenix any chance to tie the game or take the lead. Perhaps the most painful turnover came when Chris Paul lost the ball on a vacation flight, which led to Khris Middleton scoring a two-point shot to give Milwaukee the 103-99 lead.
Antetokounmpo ended his night after registering 26 points (11 for 19 shots from the field), 14 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks in 43 minutes of playing time. Middleton led the way for Milwaukee by scoring after losing 40 points while shooting 15 for 33 from the field.
Now Milwaukee fans have the chance to see if “Bucks in six” becomes a reality this Saturday, as the team returns to Phoenix for Game 5. Otherwise, we can guarantee the Phoenix loyalists will chant “Suns in six. “if the Western Conference champions can achieve victory.
