Trae Young briefly leaves Game 3 after awkwardly landing on the ankle
Super middleweight David Morrell did a quick job over previously undefeated Mario Cazares for the first round knockout victory over FOX.
David Morrell is a young boxer with a bright future. He won the WBA “interim” super middleweight title in his third professional fight. On Sunday, June 27, he caused another sensation on PBC on FOX.
Morrell (5-0, 4 KOs) faced a challenge from Mario Cazares, who entered the fight with an unbeaten record, but it was not. It only took one round for Morrell to crush Cazares with his left hand.
Morrell drove left right at the head of Cazares at the end of the first lap, which sent Cazares flying towards the web. He shrugged his shoulders off the canvas, but that was all he had. The fight was over, giving Morrell his fourth knockout in five fights.
