Dead Space remake announced
It was announced that Dead space will receive a remake which was announced Thursday during the EA Play Live 2021 digital showcase. The original sci-fi survival horror classic was first released in 2008. The Dead Space remake will arrive on Playstation 5, PC and Xbox Series X.
The new version will feature “an improved story, characters, game mechanics and more as they fight to survive a living nightmare aboard the desolate mining vessel, the USG Ishimura, while uncovering the terrible mystery of what happened to the slain crew and ship “according to their press release.
The lead producer of Dead Space said there is a “passionate team at Motive” behind the project, which will “modernize the game” for next-gen consoles. The new Dead Space will be a remake, not a remaster, which means there could be other additions and changes. The team reached out to Dead Space players for feedback to develop a “game they want”, but also to provide an experience for “new players to enjoy, too.”
There is currently no release date for the new Dead Space game at this point.
