The Fortnite Season 7 challenges continue with another bundle for week 7. This week, Epic wants players to score an alien egg. If you’ve lived under a rock, Fortnite Season 7 hosted a giant alien invasion, and the map was littered with alien eggs that spawn little pests that cling to you.
Nice stuff. What’s not nice is having to A) hunt down an alien egg and B) have to figure out how to tag it.
How to mark an alien egg in Fortnite
Luckily, you’ve got us, and we’ve done the hard work of finding you. Read on for our complete guide on how to score an alien egg in Fortnite.
Here are the previous challenges for week 7:
– Where to build a wooden hatchery
– Where to pick up records in Craggy Cliffs and Pleasant Park
You can find alien eggs at Holly Hatchery, or if that fails, the southwest part of the purple crater in the center of the map. There are other places, but these will probably be the easiest to access and avoid conflicts.
When you land on the ground you are looking for the little green balls that look like this.
Once you find an alien egg, you can mark it by clicking your mouse wheel. This is the same button you would use to ping a location on your map or to mark the presence of an enemy player. If you’re using a controller or on a console, it’s the left D-pad button on the default settings (keep in mind that Fortnite’s controls are fully remappable, so things may be different for you).
Once you’ve scored an alien egg, you’ve completed the challenge. Pretty easy, eh? Be sure to check out our Fortnite guides for more walkthroughs and news on the latest skins, like World Champion Bugha. Additionally, Fortnite gets a Ferrari car in the game.
