Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle celebrates 4 year anniversary with new artwork
On August 29, 2017, Ubisoft released its wacky turn-based tactical RPG crossover that unexpectedly joined the Rabbids with one of Nintendo’s biggest IPs. Mario + Raving Rabbids Kingdom Battle was a wonderfully unique surprise during the Nintendo Switch launch year, scoring a very good 85 on Metacritic and selling over 7.5 million copies in June. Today marks the game’s fourth anniversary, and the official @MarioRabbids Twitter account celebrated by posting all-new artwork. An ambitious sequel titled Mario + Raving Rabbids Sparks of Hope, which newly features a Raving Rabbit version of Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy, was announced at E3 this year and will be released sometime in 2022.
