Update: Summer has officially arrived in Mario Kart Tour. Daisy (Swimwear) debuts alongside the new Sunny Surf Sailer and Cheep-Cheep Island. Here is a first glimpse:
Nintendo’s mobile title Mario Kart Tour will receive another content update soon. Ahead of launch, it was revealed as a new (but old) song – Cheep-Cheep Island from the Game Boy Advance generation.
Yes, this is another course from the 2001 title, Mario Kart: Super Circuit. This track originally appeared in the Lightning Cup and is known for its Sunsets … and Cheep-Cheep. He will appear as part of the summer tour:
This course joins a number of other tracks from the same generation of handhelds, including Bowser’s Castle 1 and 2 and Sunset Wilds. In total, nearly 40 retro-themed tracks are now featured in Mario Kart Tour on mobile.
