Today’s Nintendo Switch OLED reveal didn’t cause much disruption in terms of what games can be played and enjoyed; the system is the same under the hood, although the bigger screen and other goodies will still make it desirable. However it is a tiny a little wider, which will have an impact on Nintendo Labo.
The Labo lineup has been an enjoyable part of this generation, although its original approach to building and playing may not have seen noticeable commercial success as the series progressed. Now, the official FAQ has pointed out that there will be “differences” between Labo Toy-Con accessories and the OLED model.
However, there may be some differences in the gaming experience with some of the Toy-Con accessories from the Nintendo Labo series, due to differences in console and screen size between Nintendo Switch (OLED model) . Switch. There may also be games where the gaming experience may differ due to the new capabilities of the console, such as the larger screen size.
The size difference is only 0.1 inch in terms of the overall width of the OLED tablet, so for a number of Toy-Cons we imagine that it will still fit, maybe this is the most comfortable cardboard controllers affected. The VR Lab is most likely to be affected, as the larger screen will potentially not line up properly with the glasses.
We’ll see when the console launches – the big question, do you still play Nintendo Labo? Maybe we should all pull out this box to remind ourselves that it can actually be quite fun …
