Snyder Cut Art Shows Off Kilowog’s Green Lantern Suit

New concept art from Zack Snyder’s Justice League reveals a look at Kilowog’s full Green Lantern costume for the DCEU.

Although Kilowog briefly appeared (well, his dead body did) in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, fans were eager to see more from the Green Lantern. Both he and John Stewart were originally meant to show up to offer Batman their help against Darkseid at the end of the film, but Warner Bros. nixed the idea and Martian Manhunter was used instead. Thankfully, we know what Kilowog’s full costume should’ve looked like in the DC Extended Universe.

Concept artist Jerad S. Marantz once again took to Instagram to reveal more of his work from Justice League, giving fans a full look at Kilowog’s detailed Green Lantern uniform. It’s made up of metallic armor with different plates – but keeps the classic design with white boots and white gloves. The director recently revealed a behind-the-scenes shot of the scene he filmed with Wayne T. Carr as John Stewart, but it may be some time before we see Kilowog on the big screen again.

What do you make of the Kilowog designs? Would you like to see more from the classic Green Lantern in the DCEU? Sound-off in the comments below!

Here is the official synopsis for the Zack Snyder cut:

“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons and Ciarán Hinds.
