Witness the origins of Special Forces as you take a central role and change the face of history, forming Task Force One in a gripping campaign across four major theaters of war. There’s more, too: Take part in 20 multiplayer maps at launch, dive into the very first Zombies crossover experience, and get ready for full Warzone integration, including a massive new map.

Changing the face of history
Experience combat through the history of multinational soldiers who came together to form Task Force One and set the stage for Special Forces as we know them. Here are the heroes of Call of Duty: Vanguard:

- Lieutenant Polina Petrova of the 138th Rifle Division, Red Army

Through the gripping tale and remarkable journey of these soldiers of steel, players will experience influential battles in four theaters of World War II as they take on enemies on the Eastern and Western Fronts of Europe and fight each other for the free world in the Pacific and North Africa.
Multiplayer brings 20+ launch cards
Expect a massive multiplayer offering from day one with the launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard featuring 20 maps in a wide variety of environments, 16 of which are designed for core gameplay. Prepare for signature Call of Duty action as you work your way up the ranks to become one of the first Special Forces Operators.

The very first zombie crossover experience

Led in development by Treyarch Studios, the cooperative experience continues the story of Dark Aether to create a deeply engaging lore, while also innovating the core gameplay for which the mode is famous.

Warzone brings a new map
With development led by Raven Software, Warzone is set to make Call of Duty history with a brand new main map launching later this year, as well as full integration between Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone.

Vanguard is an intergenerational title, which means gamers can party with friends on PS4 and PS5, for a truly connected experience. And when you upgrade to a PS5 console, you’ll take your profile, progress, and stats with you.
The Battle Pass system is also returning, letting you unlock post-launch content with unified progression in both Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone. As always, you can unlock items like basic weapons, customization items, and more, just by playing the game.

The thrilling intensity of world war is right at your fingertips (literally).
